Donate Through My Estate

Learn how Jane Simmons chose to support the community through her estate.

Many members of our community have already made provisions to create or supplement a charitable endowment or non-endowed charitable fund at the Community Foundation through their estate plan.  Whether you name the Community Foundation in your will, or as a remainder beneficiary of a personal trust, retirement account, or insurance policy; incorporating your charitable goals into your estate plan may allow you to accomplish more fully later what you may not be able to do comfortably during your lifetime.

To explore how best to incorporate the Community Foundation and your charitable goals into your estate plans, we encourage you to contact us for a confidential conversation about the options available to you.  You may also ask your estate attorney or financial advisor to contact us on your behalf.
