Friends of the Staunton Library Annual Meeting & Program

The Friends of the Staunton Library will hold its Annual Meeting on Tuesday, October 23. The meeting will begin at 6:30 with a short business session, including Board elections, annual reports, and consideration of proposed amendment to the bylaws.

This will be followed by our program speaker, Mr. David Simms, local author. Mr. Simms is the author of a new novel, Fear the Reaper; a thriller set in Staunton at Western State Mental Hospital during the height of the American eugenics movement. He will be speaking about his novel and the research done to support it. He will bring some copies of his book for sale at a discounted price.
