For years, Pam Huggins has worked tirelessly and enthusiastically on behalf of numerous local causes. In 2008, she was recognized with the Community Spirit Award by the Shenandoah Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. This award is presented to an individual demonstrating exceptional commitment to the nonprofit community through personal volunteer involvement. Pam served on the Community Foundation’s Board of Directors from 2001-2008, and remains involved with the Foundation on many levels. In 2009, she chaired the Dawbarn Education Awards Selection Committee. “I appreciate that the Community Foundation exists to serve the entire community,” says Pam. Jim and Pam Huggins live in Staunton.
