Community Child Care

Why We Exist

To provide safe, affordable, quality child care for the children of Staunton and surrounding communities.

What We Do

We offer preschool for ages 2-3 and Pre-K for ages 4-5. We have a before and after school age program for students in grade K-5th. We offer a Summer Camp for school age students, we are open during school closings (except for major holidays), and we have a sliding fee scale that is based on income and how many people are living in the household. Our hours of operation are 6:30 am to 5:45 pm (Monday – Friday). We accept DSS child care subsidy.

Who We Serve

Families with young and school age children.
Why Community Members Support Our Work
Community Child Care believes that every child has a right to quality education and care. We present the families the opportunity to afford that care here at Community Child Care. By offering a sliding fee scale, the families can choose to place their children in our care without going into debt or taking on a second job. Our center strives to give the parents/guardians the ability to use that extra money not spent on child care to go toward food or an additional bill. We would like to continue to offer this convenience but fear that may be in jeopardy due to loss of grant funding. We are a non-profit that strives to help others succeed and give children the ability to be successful in school.
