Dawn Field was a visionary molecular evolutionary biologist with a love for language. Dawn was raised in Highland County (VA), graduated from the College of William and Mary and received her PhD from the University of California at San Diego’s Ecology, Behavior and Evolution Department. She and her son returned to Highland County to live and work near her parents.
Eligibility
- An eligible student must be a graduating senior at Highland High School.
- An eligible student must demonstrate financial need.
- An eligible student should demonstrate academic merit.
- An eligible student must be enrolled or plan to enroll at an accredited two-year or four-year institution or trade school.
