The Community Foundation of the Central Blue Ridge helps individuals, families, businesses, and organizations achieve their charitable goals and create lasting impact.

Supported by hundreds of generous donors—many of whom have established permanent charitable funds—we serve as a trusted partner in shaping meaningful philanthropy throughout our region and beyond.  The Community Foundation helps donors make a difference in ways that are most important to them – today and for generations to come.

As of June 30, 2026, we administer over 260 charitable funds, representing assets of $65 million. From those assets, which we invest for long term growth, we distributed $3.3 million in grants, scholarships, education awards, and strategic investments in 2025 to support the needs of our community.
