N. Carroll & Grace B. Guynn Scholarship

Carroll and Grace “Patsy” Guynn were both public school educators in Augusta County, Virginia. This scholarship was established to honor the memory of parents who set a rich and poignant example for their three sons that dedication to community makes it a better place for all to enjoy.

Eligibility

  • An eligible student must be a graduating senior at Wilson Memorial High School.
  • An eligible student must demonstrate financial need. 
  • An eligible student should  exhibit strong character, citizenship, and other appropriate factors to be determined at the discretion of the selection committee.
  • An eligible student should have plans to enroll at an accredited two- or four-year college or university, or a vocational program leading to occupational certification, in the continental United States the following academic year.
