ARROW Project’s approach reflects our goal of expanding and developing new care possibilities through connection within the community, cultivation of new and emerging professionals, and collaboration with area mental health care providers and professionals. ARROW Project hopes that connection, cultivation, and collaboration will promote a stronger, more resilient collective community.

For the Community- ARROW Project will provide connections to existing mental health providers, facilitate community engagement activities, and creating innovative program in which community members can participate. For students- ARROW Project will provide programming deemed appropriate for training/supervision opportunities for new and emergent mental health professionals at various stages of their professional development to cultivate a stronger community of care givers. For providers and other community professionals-ARROW Project will collaborate with current providers and other professionals to ensure that clients seeking specific mental health services can be appropriately connected to the right provider.

Who We Serve

ARROW Project will serve individuals in the direct community, in the academic community, and in the mental health professionals community.
Why Community Members Support Our Work
Mental health services are most predominantly covered or reimbursable through provide and public insurance. As a result mental health professionals are limited in the services they can provide, and individuals in our community are limited in what services they can access. Additionally, commonly students seeking training opportunities do not meet the requirements to be identified as qualified mental health professionals. This means less individuals providers available to provide services that are needed to strengthen our community. ARROW Project intends to provide services that are not commonly reimbursed by insurance, provide training opportunities for new and emergent students; while providing viable employment opportunities for these individuals. In order to meet these goals ARROW Project will require charitable contributions to increase sustainability of our organization.
