Old Dominion Perfomance Arts Studio

Why We Exist

As a part of the vision of ODPAS we believe in making our services as accessible as possible, regardless of race, gender, financial situations, eat. It is our purpose to reach out into the community to share the arts that we offer and enrich lives of others while offering our students opportunities to develop their talent, skills, and build on their community awareness.

What We Do

Classes are currently offered year round in our Martial Arts and Dance Divisions for children ages 2 years through adults. We offer progressive programing in both of our divisions that students are offered classes in a variety of levels to meet their abilities. In addition to this primary programming, we offer additional programs through out the year (like yoga, zumba, tumbling, acro, etc.) We also use our performance platform to help other non-profit groups by demonstrating at their events. All students are encouraged to participate at these events.

Who We Serve

The studio is committed to making every effort to offer our program to as many students as possible.
Why Community Members Support Our Work
We have offered, at times in years past, almost 80% of our students some form of financial assistance to participate in classes or to be able to offer opportunities for further training. The majority of our scholarship funding has been depleted due to our move to our new studio in 2016 due to structural issues with the previous studio home of 16 yrs. We look to rebuild our scholarship assistance program to expand to again be able to generously offer to more students.
