Wilson Workforce & Rehab Center Foundation

Why We Exist

The mission of the Wilson Workforce and Rehabilitation Center Foundation is to raise funds and secure resources to support vocational rehabilitation at WWRC, leading to increased independence and employment of Virginians with disabilities.

What We Do

Raise funds and resources in support of programs at Wilson Workforce & Rehabilitation Center.

Who We Serve

Individuals with disabilities residing in Virginia.
Why Community Members Support Our Work
The Foundation’s primary goal is to expand the vocational rehabilitation services so that Virginians with disabilities can receive the training needed to secure gainful employment and to experience personal and economic independence. Employers of the Center’s graduates have learned to expect committed employees who are determined to show up on time, work the entire shift, and conduct themselves in ways that are good for business. These employers have also found that skilled people with disabilities rate above average in reliability, safety and performance when compared to other workers. An additional goal of our current strategic initiative is to increase financial support of the Foundation and in turn allocate the majority of those resources to the Center’s direct client support.
