About The MaDee Project
The MaDee Project supports pediatric cancer patients and their families in Staunton, Augusta County, and Waynesboro by providing financial assistance and guidance. Inspired by MaDee Boxler’s determination and compassionate spirit during her battle with cancer, the project was established in 2010 to honor her legacy. Now administered by the Community Foundation of the Central Blue Ridge, the MaDee Project ensures families can focus on what truly matters: their child’s care.

Do you know a family who needs our support?

The MaDee Project receives referrals from University of Virginia Children’s Hospital, local school systems, and friends and family members of those battling pediatric cancer. If your child has been diagnosed with cancer in the Virginia area or if you know of a family in need of support, please contact info@cfcbr.org.
