Mark Tinsley Scholarship

Mark Tinsley’s friends and family honor his drive, intelligence, steadfastness and big heart with this scholarship fund designed to do what Mark did throughout his life – give a little help to someone who is willing to work. Investment advisor, entrepreneur, friend, brother, son and father – Mark Tinsley filled many roles during his lifetime. With each role he filled, no role was more important to him than the one he performed the very moment he spent with you. Unfortunately, the treatments he endured successfully to overcome cancer in his twenties, manifested itself in his fifties as heart disease. But heart was something Mark had ‘and gave’ abundantly. Mark reached one more milestone in the last year of his life. He completed his undergraduate studies with a degree in business administration from Eastern Mennonite University just a few months before his 53rd birthday.
